Featuring Kavin in the lead role, alongside Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan, and Geetha Kailasam, the movie garnered favorable reviews upon release and enjoyed a decent opening at the box office. However, it experienced a significant drop in box office numbers on Monday.

As per Sacnilk, the Tamil romantic drama, “Star” earned a decent ₹ 2.8 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. Seeing slight growth the film earned ₹ 3.75 Cr on Saturday. Keeping steady Star earned another ₹ 3.75 Cr on Sunday. However, after a steady growth during the weekend, the film witnessed a huge fall on Monday earning only ₹ 1.15 Cr. The Tamil film now stands at a domestic box office total of approx. ₹ 11.45 Cr.
