Meanwhile, the sequel of the film will now feature Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. The first look of the actress in the film is out now, here’s how the fans have reacted-
Taking to her Instagram account actress Kangana Ranaut shared her first look from her upcoming Tamil movie Chandramukhi. For the unversed, Chandramukhi is a Tamil movie released in 2005 featuring South superstar Rajinikanth alongside actress Jyothika who essayed the role of “Chandramukhi” in the film. The film was a huge blockbuster hit of the time.
Meanwhile, the sequel will feature Kangana Ranaut in the lead. The horror comedy sequel is Directed by P Vasu and produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran, Chandramukhi 2 will hit theatres in September this year.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen in her upcoming film, “Emergency”. In the film Kangana will play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Apart from acting, the film is also directed by the actress herself. Apart from her the film will also feature Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry and Shreyas Talpade among others and will hit the theatres on November 24 this year.
