The recently released film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has got the entire world talking and debating. The film highlights the plight of Kashmiri Hindus during their exodus cum genocide in the Kashmir valley in the year 1990. People are either supporting Vivek Agnihotri’s film wholeheartedly or calling it a propaganda film to instigate hate amongst Hindus and Muslims.
Popular Television actor Arjun Bijlani recently shared his views on the film. During the media interaction on his upcoming web series ‘Roohaniyat’, the actor was asked if he has watched the film yet.
Arjun replied, “No, I haven’t watched the film yet but it is a story that everyone must watch. It is a fact about something that has happened in our country. I watch the news regularly. So I have watched a lot of debates on Kashmir and Kashmiri Pandits. I have always been very intrigued to know why that happened and why there are two narratives. I want to go and watch ‘The Kashmir Files’ because firstly the performances are amazing. It is being talked about everywhere. And it is something that happened in our country, so everybody should watch and know.”
Actor Arjun Bijlani was the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11. He will be next seen in ‘Roohaniyat’ also starring Kanika Mann, Aman Verma and Smita Bansal in pivotal roles and is scheduled to release on March 23.
