Watch: Ajay Devgn’s Reaction When Journalist Asked About ‘The Kashmir Files’

Check out how Ajay Devgn reacted when a journalist asked him a question about 'The Kashmir Files'.

Ajay Devgn launched the trailer of his upcoming thriller film ‘Runway 34’ in Mumbai today. During the press conference, a journalist referred to the success of ‘The Kashmir Files’ and asked him if films based on true stories are the best way to attract the audience. To this, Ajay replied, “It’s not like that. And it’s not happening just in India, but the rest of the world as well. I have done biographical films like ‘The Legend Of Bhagat Singh’. When you hear stories, some of them are so inspirational. Sometimes, the truth is so amazing that you can’t write fiction like that. The idea is not to hunt true incidents to make a film. But what happens is, when you hear a true story, you feel that the world must know about it. And that’s why we pick it up.”

Talking about his upcoming project ‘Runway 34’, it is a Hindi thriller film directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. It stars himself alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. The film is inspired by the true story of the Jet Airways Doha-Kochi flight. The incident took place in 2015 when the flight had a narrow escape after facing difficulties to land at the Cochin International Airport due to bad weather and unclear visibility.

The film will have a theatrical release on 29 April 2022.
