MasterChef India is one of the most loved reality cooking shows on television. There are only a few days left until the grand finale of the current season, and needless to say, all eyes will be on it. The show is in the news for some reason, and the audience’s eyes are on the judges. The judges, Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Garima Arora, have repeatedly come under fire for their judgment and choices. Because they were liberal with Aruna Vijay’s filter coffee shrikhand, they recently came under attack from trolls.
In a recent episode, many social media users observed that Ranveer was treating Aruna unfairly and was not being as tough with her as he was with Priyanka, and as usual, they started criticizing him. A specific segment of people flocked to Twitter to attack the chef and called him out for his ‘hypocrisy and biased judgment. Sharing the loopholes of the judge, a social media user shared the small clip and wrote in the caption, “Not the first time, when she was struggling with sugar consistency, Chef Brar helped by rolling the sheet for her and was praising how good her sugar bowl is while other contestants are mostly intimidated and bullied even for trying something new at #MasterChefIndia.”
Reacting to this, one netizen wrote, “This is not enough to judge their partiality !!! We need to taste food as well This lady doesn’t deserve to b in top by any logic.” Another netizen wrote, “#MasterChefIndia Even in today’s episode, Chef Pratik was helping (actually working with them) the Pink team (Aruna) on the other hand criticizing the Blue team (Swarna). We should all stand against this biased play in the show.”
MasterChef India 7, judged by Vikas Khanna, Garima Arora, and Ranveer Brar, debuted on January 2 and airs Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. on Sony TV. New episodes of MasterChef India season 7 will begin streaming at 9 p.m. on Sony’s digital platform, Sony LIV.
