Actor Firoz Khan Known For Imitating Amitabh Bachchan, Passes Away

Bhabi Ji Ghar Pe Hai actor Firoz Khan popularly known for impersonating Amitabh Bachchan passed away on 23 May.

Actor Firoz Khan, renowned for his imitation of Amitabh Bachchan, has reportedly passed away from a heart attack. According to India TV, he died in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday, May 23. A friend also confirmed the news on Instagram.

Durga Rahikwar, known for imitating Shah Rukh Khan, shared the news of Firoz’s death on Instagram. Sharing a picture with Firoz Khan alongside Kapil Sharma, he wrote, “Aaj hamare beech Feroz Khan bhaijaan (Jr. Amitabh Bachchan) nahi rahe. (Firoz Khan, known as Jr Amitabh Bachchan is no longer with us.)”

According to the report by India TV, Firoz had been residing in Badaun for some time and actively participating in events. He was also engaged in creating reels for social media. His final appearance was at the Voter Mahotsav held at Badaun Club on May 4, where he delighted the audience by dressing up as Amitabh Bachchan. Firoz’s burial is reportedly scheduled to take place in Badaun.

Firoz gained significant recognition for his mimicry of Amitabh Bachchan, but his breakthrough came with the TV show “Bhabi Ji Ghar Pe Hai.” He also appeared in other shows such as “Jija Ji Chhat Par Hai,” “Saheb Bibi Aur Boss,” “Happu Ki Ultan Paltan,” and even “Shaktimaan.” Additionally, Firoz became well-known for his role in Adnan Sami’s hit song “Thodi Si Tu Lift Kara De.” Just a day before his passing, on Wednesday, Firoz posted a reel on his Instagram, dressed as Amitabh from the film “Coolie.”
