BiggBossOTT3: On Thursday, May 23, the makers officially announced the 3rd season of the beloved show, Bigg Boss OTT. Taking to Instagram the makers also dropped a huge hint about Anil Kapoor replacing Salman Khan in the new season of the show. Following the big twist, reports have surfaced claiming that Anil Kapoor will be charging almost just a fraction of what Salman Khan charged for the show.
Anil Kapoor’s Fee For Bigg Boss OTT 3
For the unversed, previous reports claimed that OG host Salman Khan will “NOT” be hosting the 3rd season of Bigg Boss OTT. The actor had previously hosted the 2nd season of the show, however shortly after the firing incident at his residence reports surfaced claiming that the actor will be skipping the 3rd season of the show.
After purportedly bidding farewell to the show, rumors emerged suggesting that the hosting role might be filled by one of three Bollywood celebrities: Karan Johar, who hosted Bigg Boss OTT season 1, Sanjay Dutt, who co-hosted Bigg Boss season 5 alongside Salman Khan, or Anil Kapoor, who would be a new face for the show.
However, on 23 May the makers officially announced the 3 season of the show also dropping a major hint revealing that the 3rd season might be hosted by none other than the Jhakkas actor Anil Kapoor himself.
Now as per a Filmibeat report, Salman Khan was allegedly paid Rs 12 crore per episode, while Anil Kapoor is anticipated to receive 1/6th of Salman’s daily earnings. As per the report, Anil Kapoor is set to earn a staggering Rs 2 crore for his hosting duties on the show.
However, there’s no official confirmation about the same.
