Nicki Minaj ARRESTED For Possessing Drugs In Amsterdam

Rapper Nicki Minaj was detained by Dutch authorities over the weekend on suspicion of "drug possession," as reported by the police.

Rapper and singer-songwriter, Nicki Minaj also known as Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, faced drug-related charges in Amsterdam. Nicki endured hours of detention at Schiphol Airport on suspicion of “possession of soft drugs” before Dutch authorities fined her and allowed her to proceed with her travels. This development sparked widespread discussion on social media. Initial reports indicated the discovery of marijuana in Nicki’s bag, but a recent update reveals that she underwent questioning and was later released.

Nicki Minaj was en route from Amsterdam to England for the ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour’ when she encountered trouble. The singer was arrested by airport police on drug-related charges. She reportedly paid a fine during her detention. Despite this setback, Nicki assured her fans that she would announce a new concert date soon and confirmed that previously purchased tickets would remain valid.

Nicki Minaj posted a video on her Instagram showing an officer questioning her. She expressed frustration, mentioning in the caption that her bag was taken before she could inspect it. The bag was retained on the plane, and now authorities claim it’s held at customs. Nicki suggested that this interference was an attempt to disrupt her tour, labeling it as illegal.

Sharing the video Nicki wrote, “They are trying to stop me from coming to every show. They took my bag before I could see it. They had kept it on the plane and now they are saying they are waiting at customs. This is what it looks like when people are paid big bucks to try to sabotage a tour after all else fails. Whatever they have done is illegal.”
