Loona’s Chuu Denies Abuse Allegations Following Eviction From Kpop Girl Band

K-pop group Loona member Chuu was recently removed reportedly for 'violent language and misuse of power' towards a staff member.

The former member of the popular K-pop girl band Loona, recently dropped out of the group by her former agency BlockBerry Creative (BBC). However, the pop star recently opened up about her eviction for the first time.

For the unversed, BBC announced Chuu’s removal from the nine-member girl group on November 25, citing ‘violent language and misuse of power’ towards a staff member as the reason behind this decision. However, taking to social media, the ‘Heart Attack’ singer denied all the allegations against her and claimed that she had never done anything that would be “shameful” for her fans. Chuu also shared that she had more to say, and would reveal further information in the future.

Taking to Instagram stories, Chuu penned in Korean translated into English, “As I have not received any contact regarding this series of situations or know anything about them, I’m currently grasping the situation, but what I’m sure of is that I haven’t done anything that would be shameful to my fans. In the future, as my position is decided, I will share another statement.”

The K-pop girl band, Loona, has been in the headlines for the last few months for all the wrong reasons. For the unaware, it was revealed that all the members of Loona – Heejin, HaSeul, YeoJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Cherry, Yves, Go Won, and Olivia Hye desired to end their contract with the agency, as reported by JTBC Entertainment News. On November 28, all members filed requests seeking suspension of their contracts as their “trust has been broken.” However, the agency has denied all the reports.
