Even though TikTok is mired in controversies in the US, but that hasn’t stopped the app from becoming more viral in America and also since many Hollywood singers are now on the viral short form video making app, the latest update in this same trend is that Halsey debuts buzz cut look in new tiktok video.
It is public knowledge now that India banned TikTok and 49 other Chinese apps from the play store and iOS store back in June 2020, US is also thinking and mulling on the same thought process of banning TikTok but now till the time this app is active and getting more globally prominent, a good news for the “Closer” (2016) singer fans is that their favorite singer Halsey debuts buzz cut look in new tiktok video.

The 26 year old singer Halsey gained the global recognition and fame with her song Closer in collaboration with the most ace singing band The Chainsmokers back in 2016 and then her next song was with the K Pop boy band BTS who are now international global superstars which was titled “Boy With Luv” (2019) and this song also smashed all the other songs records.
She is known for her bold hair styles along with her mellifluous singing as well. She recently decided to go for a completely bizarre and totally new hair look where she just cut off her long and luscious dark brown hair locks and went for a bald hair look which she then decided to debut with in a brand new TikTok video.
On Monday, Halsey took to her instagram handle whereby she shared her same TikTok video in which she is first seen in a long black hair wig which she later removes, and towards the end of the video we see her new buzz cut hair style.
The video starts with Halsey wearing a wig as she lip syncs and imitates to a very popular audio clip which had lyrics, “I’m not gonna do it, girl. I was just thinking about it. I’m not gonna do it”.
Also this is clearly not her first time where she is seen effortlessly killing the buzz cut look with her swag and confidence as Halsey has had this same hair do even back in 2016.
Now it’s also very much out there that this hairdo of Halsey is being loved by all her fans on the social media who even gave her a green signal and thumbs up as well. One TikTok user had commented, “We Love Baldsey”.
One fan of the singer asked the singer if it was her look for a new music video or sow, and she answered him saying that she, “just felt like it”.
During one of her interviews when asked about same she had answered, “I was growing it out for so long and I told myself I wouldn’t shave it till I saw what it was like healthy and long and then I saw it healthy and long and said, ‘Mm this is nice but I miss bald”.
During one of her interviews almost 4 years back with a leading entertainment website, she said, “Hair has also been a big indicator of racial issues in my life, It’s one of the ultimate symbolic struggles for women of colour. Shaving my head was important to me because I needed to be able to prove that I could still love myself if I did it”.
