Poonam Pandey’s Family Goes ‘Missing’ After Her Death Announcement

The sudden death of Lockupp contestant Poonam Pandey took the internet by shock. Taking to her Instagram account, Poonam’s team announced her death issuing an official statement. The shocking and unfortunate news initially left the netizens in doubt and confusion as to whether it was only a publicity stunt, however, her publicist confirmed the model’s death leaving everyone shocked.

However, another latest update on her death has now come out. Reportedly, after Poonam Pandey’s death announcement her family has gone “missing” and “unreachable”. A source told IndiaToday.in, “We tried calling Poonam’s sister after our last call with her but ever since, her phone has been switched off.”

The source added, “Not only that, but her other family members are also not reachable. We tried to get in touch with 2-3 members of Poonam’s team as well and, surprisingly, everybody’s phone is either switched off or unreachable. Hence, we are also confused at this moment.”

On the other hand, some shocking revelations were made regarding Poonam Pandey’s death claiming that the actress died not due to cervical cancer but, “Drug Overdose”. A source revealed to Times Now that Poonam Pandey died of a drug overdose and not cervical cancer. However, there’s no official confirmation about the same.

For the unversed, on 2 February, a statement was shared on Poonam Panday’s Instagram account announcing her demise. The statement read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
