While fans were already trying to understand what went wrong in his healthy 29 years long marriage with his wife – minutes later, AR Rahman’s bassist Mohini Dey also announced her breakup with beau Mark. However, post the announcement there were continuous speculations if the two divorce news are linked to one another. Finally, Mohini Dey has reacted to people who are constantly trying to link her divorce with that of AR Rahman-Saira’s divorce news.

Taking it to her instagram stories, Mohini Dey revealed that she has been receiving a lot of interview requests from different outlets because of the mere co-incidence of the composer and bassist announcing the divorce across the same time. She further tells that she is not going to spend her energy on rumors and requested for some privacy from all. The entire message read, “I’ve been getting a humungous amount of requests for interviews and I know exactly what it’s about so, I have to respectfully turn each one down because I am not interested in fueling into ABSOLUTE BS. I believe my energy is not worth spending on RUMOURS. Kindly, respect my privacy”
Earlier, Vandana Shah, A R Rahman – Saira Banu’s lawyer also bashed the rumors by speaking out that there is no linkup at all and the couple have taken not taken this deicsion lightly.
After AR Rahman and Saira Banu’s lawyer announced their separation on Tuesday, Mohini a day later, on November 20th, Wednesday took to her instagram to share that she and her partner have decided to part ways after things didn’t seem to be going in right direction. Soon, fans began to wonder if the two divorces were linked to one another, as both Rahman and Dey have worked closely together.
