In the post he created a new hashtag #arrrsairabreakup. This hashtag quickly garnered attention as fans went infuriated on how can someone create a trendy hashtag on a sensitive issue of divorce.

A R. Rahman put his heart out by writing, “We had hoped to reach the grand thirty, but all things, it seems, carry an unseen end….. To our friends, thank you for your kindness and for respecting our privacy as we walk through this fragile chapter.” #arrsairaabreakup Fans were very quick to notice the hashtag at the end of the message. People began to call out Rahman’s social media team, and the admin behind his posts and writings on these platforms. A user wrote, “Who creates hashtag for this situation? Fire your admin, thalaiva“.
