October 6, Friday marked the release of two much-anticipated Bollywood films, “Mission Raniganj” and “Thank You For Coming“. While both the films opened up to positive reactions and reviews from the audience, they “failed” to have a decent opening at the box office. However, the weekend recorded a “slight” rise in the box office figures of the two films.

Tinu Suresh’s survival thriller drama, “Mission Raniganj” starring, Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, earned approx. ₹ 2.8 Cr on its first day at the box office. The first weekend recorded better ticket sales for the film. As per Sacnilk.com, the film earned around 4.50 cr on Saturday and approx. 4.85cr on Sunday. Mission Raniganj currently stands at a domestic total of 12.15cr.

Thank You For Coming Box Office Collection Day 3
Karan Boolani’s directorial Thank You For Coming is a comedy-drama starring Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi, fell flat at the box office on its opening day. The film earned a mere “80 Lakhs“. The film even failed to record impressive earnings at the box office. As per Saclink.com, the film earned Rs 1.56cr on Saturday and 1.70cr on Sunday. Thank You For Coming currently stands on a domestic total of approx. 4cr.
