Feroz Khan Once Cut Zeenat Aman’s Pay For One Hour Delay On “Qurbani” Set

Zeenat Aman, the glory of the 70s and 80s, has jumped on Gen Z’s culture of social media last year and, since then, this beauty has been sharing her work insights, anecdotes, and her personal life experiences. Recently she shared an anecdote of working with Feroz Khan. She talked about his work ethics and how those ethics became part of her life.

Zeenat was a hit during the 70s and, therefore, it was obvious that the actress would not accept secondary roles. When Feroz Khan, who was into acting, direction and production, called Zeenat for one of his films and mentioned the semi-lead role, the actress refused it and for that reason Feroz Khan was displeased with her.

She posted a photo of her and Feroz Khan and captioned it saying, “I read somewhere that Oxford’s word for the year 2023 is “rizz” – short for ‘charisma’. Well, if I’ve ever known anybody to have rizz, it was Feroz Khan.”

Later she explained the work ethics of Feroz Khan in detail in the caption. After Zeenat refused to go for a secondary role, next time he called her for the lead role in the movie “Qurbani”. She said, “I was quite a diligent worker, but on one occasion my youth got the better of me.” During the shoot of Qurbani, she had an early call time the next day and, regardless of that, she went to a party that night. She enjoyed it a lot, and called it a fantastic night. But the next day she arrived on set one hour late. She was about to give Feroz Khan an explanation, but he cut her off and said, “Begum, you’re late, and you’re going to pay for the delay.” He docked her pay to pay the other crew members for the delay.

She also mentioned that Qurbani is one of her favourite projects till date.
