Drishyam 2 Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna starrer Drishyam 2 hit the theatres on 18th November. Abhishek Pathak’s directorial opened up to a positive response from the audience and got the second biggest opening this year. The film isn’t showing any signs of slowing down, as even on the 8th day Drishyam 2 has managed to beat Varun Dhawan’s film Bhediya’s opening-day collection. Drishyam 2 took a bumper opening at the box office. Ajay Devgn starrer earned a total of approx Rs 15.38 on its opening day. Abhishek Directorial film’s opening day earnings even surpassed Kartik Aaryan’s film Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s 2 first day earnings. It is now believed that the 8th-day collection of Drishyam 2 is way higher than Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya’s opening-day collection.
While Bhediya scored around 6-7cr on its opening day, Drishyam 2, on the other hand, earned 8cr on its 8th day i.e Friday. Drishyam 2 now stands on a domestic total of ₹ 112.66 Cr. The film has now finally crossed the 100cr mark with its domestic collection. Drishyam 2 collected more than 22cr from its international and overseas collections. The worldwide collection of the film stands at a total of ₹ 131.50 Cr.

Abhishek Pathak’s directorial Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn alongside actress Tabu and actor Akshaye Khanna is now out in the theatres. The much-anticipated crime-thriller sequel picks up the story of Vijay Salgaonkar (played by Ajay Devgn) who killed the son of cop Meera Deshmukh (Tabu), but due to lack of evidence, Vijay is let off the allegations. However, in the sequel, Tabu will be seen teaming up with Akshaye Khanna to dig up the evidence against Vijay and take revenge for her son’s murder.

Apart from them the film also stars Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Neha Joshi, Kamlesh Sawant, and Yogesh Soman in pivotal roles. The film is a sequel to 2015 released Drishyam, which was a Hindi remake of a Malayalam film of the same name.
