Bhediya Box Office Collection: Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy film Bhediya is now running in the theatres. The film stars Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. Varun Dhawan’s horror-comedy film has successfully managed to impress the audience as the film received positive reviews from critics and viewers. Meanwhile, as per the latest trade reports, it is now believed that the film took a decent start at the theatres on its opening day, here’s how much it collected-
Bhediya Box Office Collection Day 1
After Stree and Roohi, Maddock films are now back again with yet another horror-comedy film Bhediya which stars actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The film revolves around the story of an ordinary man named “Bhaskar” who transforms into a werewolf after being bitten by one. Kriti Sanon on the other hand plays the role of a doctor named Anika who is also the love-interest of Bhaskar. Anika and Bhaskar’s friends try to find answers to his mysterious transformation.
Meanwhile, as per the latest trade reports, it is now believed that Amar Kaushik’s directorial is off to a decent start at the box office. Bhediya collected in the range of 6-7 crores on Friday. However many claimed that the film’s opening digits were disappointing as the film was expected to score in double digits.
For the unversed, Varun Dhawan’s recent release JugJugg Jeeyo scored higher than Bhediya. It is also believed that Bhediya’s opening day collections were somewhere affected by Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 which scored 15.38cr on its opening day. Drishyam 2 is still performing better than the recent releases. Meanwhile, Bhediya is expected to show growth during the weekend.

Bhediya stars Varun as a normal man named Bhaskar apart from him the film also stars Kriti Sanon as a doctor of werewolves. The film marks Varun and Kriti’s reunion and second film together after Dilwale. This is the third installment of Dinesh Vijan’s cinematic universe. After Stree and Roohi Maddock Films are now all set for Bhediya. Helmed by Amar Kaushik the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films banner. Bhediya was released in theaters on 25 November 2022.
