Since Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein also popularly known as RHTDM completes 19 successful years, Dia took to her official twitter handle, and shared an unknown trivia related to the film and shared that she was only 19 years old when the film released. Her sweetly written caption on the tweet read, “I was all of 19 when this movie released. And for 19 years you’ve given us love. This one is very close to my heart. Celebrating this journey love #19YearsOfRHTDM #RHTDM”.
The film wasn’t a commercial success when released in 2001 but surely was an intense romantic love saga which successfully won the audiences and fans hearts with the mind blowing chemistry between Maddy and Reena which was played by R Madhavan and Diya Mirza in the film and it also had Sacred Games actor Saif Ali Khan as the parallel lead who played the character of Rajeev and now this movie is an audiences and fans favourite even after so many years.

Also recently, there were many buzzing and floating rumors in the media about the sequel to Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and the lead actor Madhavan who played Maddy in the film responded on the same on his twitter handle where his tweet read, “# RHTDM ..Guysss …been reading rumors about the sequel …and hoping it’s true-cause I have no idea about this ….just praying that someone somewhere has an age appropriate script for Dia and I -varna ab madhav shastri banana hathi ko chaddhi pehnane ke baraabar hai.
