Deepika Padukone Flaunts Her Baby Bump, Ends ‘Fake Baby Bump’ Rumors

Kalki actress Deepika Padukone recently shared pictures of her baby bump, putting an end to the 'surrogacy rumors' and trolls.

Deepika Padukone has put an end to the rumors about her baby bump. Expecting her first child with Ranveer Singh, the actress addressed the speculation on Wednesday evening by posting a picture on her Instagram stories. In the blurred photo, Deepika’s face is hidden, but she is seen in a black, form-fitting outfit, clearly showcasing her baby bump.

This development follows weeks of trolling that Deepika Padukone faced when she went out to vote. On May 20th, Deepika was seen casting her vote during the fifth phase of the Mumbai Lok Sabha Election 2024. Despite her civic engagement, some netizens harshly criticized her, calling her baby bump ‘fake’ and making unpleasant remarks.

Senior journalist Faye D’Souza expressed her support for Deepika Padukone through a powerful post on Instagram. Faye wrote, “Dear social media, Deepika Padukone stepped out to do her democratic duty and vote. She did not ask for your feedback on her body or her pregnancy. You have no right to comment on any aspect of her life. Stop it. Behave.” Alia Bhatt quickly liked the post, and her sisters, Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, along with their mother, Soni Razdan, also showed their support by liking the post.

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are set to share the screen in Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again,” which is currently in production. Additionally, Deepika will appear in “Kalki 2898 AD,” starring alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
