BhaiyyaJiBoxOffice: “Bhaiyya Ji,” a revenge drama starring Manoj Bajpayee and directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, opened to mixed reviews on Friday. Bhaiyya Ji which is also the 100th film in the actor’s career, unfortunately took a slow start at the box office registering an underwhelming opening. Following the disappointing start, Manoj Bajpayee’s film saw slight growth at the box office during the weekend.

According to Industry tracker Sacnilk, Manoj Bajpayee’s 100th film, Bhaiyya Ji earned approx. ₹ 1.35 Cr on its opening day (Friday). After a disappointing start, the film witnessed slight growth at the box office during the weekend earning ₹ 1.75 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 1.90 Cr on Sunday. The film now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 5.00 Cr.
This collection significantly surpasses Manoj Bajpayee’s previous theatrical release, “Joram,” which garnered only Rs 40 lakh during its entire one-week run in theaters. Bhaiyya Ji has been facing tough competition with the Hollywood film, “Furiosa: A Mad Saga” and the Malayalam film, “Turbo” starring Mammootty.

Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the Bollywood action crime drama, Bhaiyya Ji was released in the theatres on 24 May 2024. The film stars Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role alongside Vipin Sharma, Jatin Goswami, Suvinder Vick, and Zoya Hussain in significant roles.
According to IMDb, the movie is based on the story of a man who stands up for his family and seeks revenge for the wrongs done to his loved ones.
