Akshay Kumar VS John Abraham VS Allu Arjun: ‘Khel Khel Mein’, ‘Vedaa’, ‘Pushpa 2’ Box Office Clash

Mudassar Aziz’s upcoming film “Khel Khel Mein,” featuring an ensemble cast comprising Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Amy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal, was initially set for release on September 6, coinciding with Akshay Kumar’s birthday week. However, the film now has a revised release date and is set to hit theatres soon.

Khel Khel Mein Release Date Announced

Taapsee Pannu shared on Instagram that “Khel Khel Mein” will now premiere on August 15, Independence Day, moving up its release by a month. Alongside this announcement, she posted a group photo featuring co-stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Amy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and director Mudassar Aziz.

She wrote, “This Independence Day, step into a mad world of laughter, drama & loads of fun! Mark your calendars for August 15, 2024 when #KhelKhelMein hits the theatres,” 

Khel Khel Mein VS Vedaa

In a new twist, “Khel Khel Mein” is set to go head-to-head with the upcoming film “Vedaa” at the box office. Scheduled for release on Independence Day (August 15), “Vedaa” stars John Abraham, Sharvari, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Abhishek Banerjee.

Amid speculation of a delay in the release of “Pushpa 2,” starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, a source from the production house clarified to Pinkvilla that the film is indeed scheduled for Independence Day. According to the source, promotions for the second installment of the Pushpa franchise are already underway.
