It is rightly said that there is no age for love. It seems popular Bollywood director Hansal Mehta has proved it by marrying his longtime partner at the age of 54. The popular filmmaker celebrated his love in the presence of his close friends and family members. Hansal Mehta got married to his longtime partner Safeena Husain after staying together for 17 years. In an intimate ceremony both the love birds tied the knot with the blessings of close friends and their family members.
Hansal Mehta announced this piece of happy news on social media. He also disclosed that it was an unplanned ceremony that came after 17 years of togetherness and seeing two children growing to be an adult. Hansal Mehta and Safeena Husain are all smiles in the pictures posted on Instagram. Captioning the bundle of pictures, Hansal wrote, “So after 17 years, two children, watching our sons growing up and chasing our respective dreams we decided to get hitched. As always in life, this was also impromptu and unplanned. Our vows however were truthful and but for this little ceremony, they would never have been said. Ultimately love prevails over all else. And it has…” In one of the pictures, Safeena can be seen holding a placard that says, “love”.
