Filmmaker Karan Johar who turned 50 today hosted a grand bash at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai last night. Many of his friends from the fraternity attended the midnight party. Karan Johar’s birthday bashes are not less than a big fat event. Many of his industry peers arrive all decked up to attend the most extravagant party of the town. Even this year which marks 5oth for Karan Johar, the party decor was no less than a magnific celebration. Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash
Sharing the video, Manish wrote: “The most beautiful setting tonight @karanjohar. Happy birthday!” The video that the fashion designer uploaded exhibited a rooftop setting with flowers and an arrangement of long tables with white flowers and candles making the perfect party mood. He also uploaded a selfie video post with the birthday boy on his Instagram handle.
Everyone knows Farah Khan is a very good friend of Karan Johar and never leaves a chance to pull his leg. Even today in order to offer birthday wishes to KJo she shared a video of his closet making some cheeky jokes a fun banter. Farah captioned the video: “Happy 50th to @karanjohar .. most sporting, witty and intelligent friend I have #karah p.s- apologise for the number of times I said ‘Oh My God’ letting him hav the last word on his birthday.” She also mentioned complimenting him that he doesn’t look 50.
Maheep Kapoor who also attended the party shared a series of stories of the astonishing decorated apartment, photos of a stupendous three-tier birthday cake, and the menu. She also uploaded a selfie with Karan and wrote: “Grateful for you (heart emoji) Happy 50th my Karan”
Other industry friends who didn’t turn up for the celebration wished him on social media. Sharing throwback pictures on insta story Vicky Kaushal wrote: “Happy birthday to you Karan! Hope you have a year full of love, laughter and success.” While Neha Dhupia wrote, “#happybirthday Karan … you are golden….. but then again, you always were pure gold!!!”
