The Telugu film industry is now focusing on women’s safety, following significant developments in the Malayalam industry. The Voice of Women, a group dedicated to supporting women in the Telugu Film Industry (TFI), has submitted its report to the Telangana government.

Tollywood director Nandini Reddy shared this news on her social media, by praising the Women Of Cinema Collective (WCC) from Kerala for their efforts, which have set an example for Telugu cinema. She has urged the Telangana government to make the subcommittee report public to help shape policies that ensure safety for women in the industry.

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu also shared this appeal on her Instagram story, drawing attention to the issue.
