Telugu star Naga Chaitanya is now engaged to his long-term rumored girlfriend and Monkey Man actress Sobhita Dhulipala. The announcement came from Chaitanya’s father, the legendary Nagarjuna, who shared photos from the engagement on X.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who have been in a relationship for some time, recently got engaged. The intimate ceremony took place at the ‘Custody’ actor’s residence in Hyderabad, with family and close friends in attendance.
Announcing their engagement Nagarjuna highlighted the number ‘888,’ marking today’s date (August 8, 2024). He wrote on his X/Twitter account, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless!” 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love”.
Samantha’s Fans React To Sobhita-Naga Chaitanya’s Engagement
While most were delighted, however, many fans of Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife, Samantha took to the comment section and shared their disappointment. A user wrote, “No hate for Sobhita But we love Samantha”, another wrote, “It’s the date sam proposed him. They wait for same date and engaged.”.

The couple is anticipated to tie the knot later this year. Until now, neither Chaitanya nor Sobhita had publicly acknowledged their relationship, although they often posted similar solo photos from their numerous vacations together.
For those unaware, Naga Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, with the couple announcing their separation in October 2021.
