EXCLUSIVE: Singer Nakash Aziz – The Voice That Gave Life To Pushpa Raj’s Swag!

The popular voice behind Bollywood hits like Jabra Fan, Afghan Jalebi, Gandi Baat, Slow Motion, Pungi and many more. Breaking barriers from Bollywood to South Indian cinema, singer Nakash Aziz has crafted an incredible vibe with his distinctive voice that matches Allu Arjun’s energy and style. In an exclusive interview Lehren Retro, Nakash shared some important aspects, one of which is how he believes not an actor its a singer who should be able to match an actor’s lip-sync and style. This belief has made him one of the most dynamic playback singers in the industry, creating a perfect sync with Pushpa Raj’s bold and charismatic personality.

When asked if he anticipated the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise, Nakash recalled being confident about the it’s impact. “Well, I knew it was going to be great in Telugu,” he admitted. “The composer, Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), had shown me Vishal Dadlani’s Daakko Daakko Meka, the Hindi version of which was titled Jaago Jaago Bakre. I was blown away by the music, the visuals and how fresh Allu Arjun looked. Both versions sounded outstanding.”

Nakash, who lent his voice to Eyy Bidda Yeh Mera Adda, praised DSP’s unique style. “DSP has great quality tracks, and his production style is so unique,” he said. Interestingly, he also revealed that Eyy Bidda Yeh Mera Adda was the fastest-tempo song that he ever recorded after Shahid Kapoor’s Dhating Naach.
