According to media reports, it’s official that Telugu film industry star “Junior NTR” is set to collaborate with the renowned filmmaker “Prashanth Neel” for an ambitious movie project titled “N.T.R – 31.” The film is scheduled to begin production in April 2024. It will be jointly produced by “Mythri Movie Makers” and “N.T.R Arts,” which is also the production banner of the actor known for “RRR.” The movie is expected to have a wide release across the country in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
“Junior NTR” has garnered a significant fan following among Hindi-speaking audiences as well, following the success of his blockbuster film “RRR,” in which he starred alongside the ace actor “Ram Charan.” The movie crossed the ₹250 crore mark at the Bollywood Box Office and was directed by the country’s top director, “S.S Rajamouli,” known for helming all-time blockbusters like “Bahubali: The Beginning” and “Bahubali – 2: The Conclusion.” Currently, “NTR” is occupied with the shooting of his upcoming project, “Devara,” which is slated for a two-part release in April next year and also features “Janhvi Kapoor” and “Saif Ali Khan” in significant roles.
Director “Prashanth Neel’s” last film, “K.G.F – 2,” starring superstar “Yash,” emerged as one of the biggest hits in the country last year. The film crossed the ₹400 crore mark in the Hindi language. Currently, the filmmaker is collaborating with “Prabhas,” known for “Adipurush,” for their upcoming project, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.” This movie is generating significant buzz on social media, as it is set to clash with “SRK” starrer, the highly anticipated film “Dunki,” directed by the hit-machine director “Rajkumar Hirani.” Both films are expected to be released on Christmas this year.
The era of “Pan-India films” has begun in the country, with most filmmakers and major production houses frequently casting superstars from different industries to create larger-than-life films that cater to audiences from all corners of the nation, resulting in significant box office numbers.
