Indian2IMDb: Directed by S. Shankar, the much-awaited Tamil film “Indian 2,” featuring Kamal Haasan, premiered in theaters on July 12. As a sequel to the famous 1996 vigilante film “Indian,” expectations were high. However, the film received mostly negative reviews from critics and audiences. Following the poor reviews, the film subsequently received extremely low rating from IMDb.

“Indian 2,” the sequel continues the story from its prequel, focusing on Senapathy, a former freedom fighter turned vigilante, as he returns to fight corruption. Joined by a young ally exposing corrupt politicians online, Senapathy responds to public demand for justice.

Following the negative and disappointing reviews from critics and the public, S. Shankar’s film, Indian 2, received a ‘poor’ rating from IMDb. Starring Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles, the action thriller, “Indian 2” received a disappointing 5.1/10 rating from IMDb.
The film’s IMDb rating are unfortunately very low compared to Kamal Haasan’s previous film, Vikram, released back in 2022. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram received a solid 8.3/10 rating from IMDb.
