Hit List Box Office Collection Day 1: R. Sarathkumar’s Film Opens LOW

HitListBoxOffice: Directed by Soorya Kathir Kakkallar and K. Karthikeyan, the Tamil action film, “Hit List” was released in the theatres on 31 May. Starring Vijay Kanishka and R. Sarathkumar the film opened up to positive to average reviews from the critics and moviegoers. However, despite the favorable reviews the film took a disappointingly low start at the box office.

As per Sacnilk, R. Sarathkumar starrer Tamil action film, “Hit List” earned a mere ₹ 0.20 Cr (20 Lakhs) at the box office on its opening day. However, the film is expected to see growth during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday).

The Tamil action film’s performance was also affected by several other films like Telugu film, “Gangs Of Godavari”, Tamil film, “Garudan” and Bollywood films “Mr. And Mrs. Mahi” and “Savi” which were also released on 31 May.

In a sudden twist, a young and desperate man appeals to a notorious gangster for assistance in eliminating a troublesome rowdy. However, the narrative takes an unexpected turn as the storyline evolves into a chilling serial killer drama. A mysterious figure, concealed behind a menacing mask, emerges and begins orchestrating gruesome murders in a manner reminiscent of Jigsaw from the “Saw” franchise, plunging the narrative into a realm of horror and suspense.

Directed by Soorya Kathir Kakkallar and K. Karthikeyan and produced by K. S. Ravikumar under the banner RK Celluloids, the Tamil action film, Hit list stars Vijay Kanishka, R. Sarathkumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Shaji Chen, Smruthi Venkat, Munishkanth, Samuthirakani, Aishwarya Dutta, Bala Saravanan, and Sithara in key roles.
