‘Garudan’ VS ‘Hit List’ VS ‘Gangs Of Godavari’ Box Office Collection Day 3: Who’s Winning?

Tamil film "Garudan" is giving tough competition to Telugu film "Gangs Of Godavari" and "Hit List" at the box office.

31 May marked the release of 3 much-awaited South films including the Telugu film, “Gangs Of Godavari” and Tamil films “Garudan” and “Hit List”. The three films have been facing tough competition at the box office against each other. Check out the films’ box office collections so far!

Garudan Box Office Collection Day 3

“Garudan” is a Tamil action drama about childhood friends Aadhi and Karuna, who bond with Sokkan, an orphan. Sokkan’s loyalty is tested, forcing him to make a tough choice. Directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, the film stars Soori, Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, Sshivada, Samuthirakani, and Revathy Sarma in significant roles.

As per Sacnilk, the film earned ₹ 3.5 Cr on its opening day. The film witnessed decent growth during the weekend earning ₹ 4.85 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 6.10 Cr on Sunday. The film now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 14.45 Cr.

Hit List Box Office Collection Day 3

A desperate man seeks a gangster’s help, but the story twists into a chilling serial killer drama with a masked figure orchestrating gruesome murders, echoing “Saw.” Directed by Soorya Kathir Kakkallar and K. Karthikeyan the Tamil action film stars Vijay Kanishka, R. Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Dutta, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and others.

As per Sacnilk, the film registered a very low opening worth ₹ 0.2 Cr (20 Lakh). The film witnessed very slight growth during the weekend earning ₹ 0.27 Cr (27 Lakh) on Saturday and ₹ 0.26 Cr (26 Lakh) on Sunday. The film now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 0.73 Cr (73 lakh).

Gangs Of Godavari Box Office Collection Day 3

Starring Vishwak Sen, Neha Shetty, and Anjali, the Telugu action film, “Gangs Of Godavari” tells the story of a man who rises from poverty to wealth through sheer grit and determination, set against the backdrop of the Eluru and Godavari coastal regions in India.

As per Sacnilk, the Telugu film earned a solid ₹ 5.2 Cr on its opening day. Unfortunately, the film witnessed a HUGE drop during the weekend, earning ₹ 2.9 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 2.75 Cr on Sunday. The Telugu film now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 10.85 Cr.

Comparatively, the Tamil film “Garudan” is heading the race with the first spot followed by the Telugu film “Gangs Of Godavari” and the Tamil film “Hit List”.
