Kannada superstar Upendra Rao is all set to wow audiences with his upcoming film UI – The Movie. Upendra recently announced the official release date for UI – The Movie on social media. Along with the announcement, he shared a new poster featuring himself in a powerful look, holding a large rifle. The poster’s tagline, “All these days you watched the movies and decided whether it’s a hit or a flop. This movie will watch you and…” has sparked curiosity among fans, making them wonder about the film’s unique premise.
The much-awaited release date is December 20, 2024, perfectly aligning with the Christmas holiday season, offering fans an exciting treat to look forward to. Fans were quick to share their excitement on social media, with one commenting, “Super excited for #UITheMovie! Upendra’s vision and a Christmas 2024 release? Can’t wait!” Another added, “It looks really great….. superstar Upendra’s pan-India film “UI”,” the next comment read. An A user shared excitement saying, “Thunderstorm soon.”
UI – The Movie will be released across India in multiple languages, including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, ensuring that it reaches a large audience. The film is being produced by G. Manoharan and KP Sreekanth under Lahari Films LLP and Venus Entertainers. The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work on the film Kantara.
The star-studded cast includes Reeshma Nanaiah, Murli Sharma, Nidhi Subbaiah, P. Ravi Shankar and Bollywood actress Sunny Leone, all in important roles.
Earlier, reports suggested that Upendra Rao’s directorial film would clash with Dhruva Sarja’s global release Martin, which has already been making waves in theatres since its October 11 release. Now, with UI – The Movie receiving a new release date, it remains to be seen how this film will perform on its own!
