Allu Arjun’s Next With ‘Jailer’ Director Nelson Dilipkumar?

Tamil director Nelson Dilipkumar is set to direct icon star Allu Arjun in his next film.

Tamil director Nelson Dilipkumar, known for his distinctive filmmaking style, is set to direct icon star Allu Arjun in his upcoming project. Nelson, who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry, has delivered blockbusters such as Kolamaavu Kokila, Beast, Jailer, and more. His films are recognized for their dark humor, double-act comedy, steady camera shots, blocked compositions, and minimal use of zoom shots.

Impressed by Nelson’s unique filmmaking style, Allu Arjun has reportedly agreed for the director’s next film. Currently, Bunny is occupied with the much-anticipated sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule, while Nelson is busy working on Jailer 2.

A source revealed, “Nelson is definitely ahead of others since he has already received approval for his script from Allu Arjun. He just needs to complete his work on Jailer 2 and prepare for Bunny.” The source also mentioned that this director-actor duo is expected to start their exciting new project by the end of 2024.

Allu Arjun is currently on the lookout for unique and innovative scripts and after the success of Jailer, Nelson Dilipkumar pitched a new storyline to Tollywood star in Hyderabad. This upcoming film is set to be an action-packed, pan-Indian entertainer.

According to reports, Nelson’s film will be produced by Nallamallapu Bujji, who previously backed Allu Arjun’s hit film Race Gurram (2014).

On the work front, while ‘Pushpa 2’ has been rescheduled for a December 2024 release, ‘Jailer 2’ is tentatively titled ‘Hukum’. Also, recent reports suggest that Thalaiva Rajinikanth will charge a mind-boggling amount of over Rs 250 crore, making him the highest-paid actor in the Asian region.
