The political leader was immediately rushed to the hospital but declared dead due to heavy loss of blood. Baba who had a close connection with Bollywood industry has received alot of love from every actor in the TV and film arena. As the politician was shot dead on Saturday, several stars like Shilpa Shetty, Salman Khan and Maniesh Paul were seen attending his funeral. Sanjay Dutt and sister Priya Dutt were the first ones to reach the location as soon as the news of his death came out. Shahrukh Khan, regained his friendship with Salman Khan after 5 long years of feud because of Baba Siddique’s efforts. Siddique who is known to host lavish iftaar parties in 2013 brought the enemies together and ended their longtime dispute. Ever since those days, SRK has shared a friendly bond with Baba Siddique. Besides, iftaari parties, the two used to meet each other at different events and occasions exchanging greetings and well wishes for each other. Shahrukh Khan’s complete absence from Baba Siddique’s funeral turned out to be surprising fact that caught everyone’s attention. So far, there is no update on why Shahrukh Khan chose to stay away from Baba Siddique’s funeral. SRK who was on his toes to attend friend Farah Khan’s mom’s funeral, and also visited one of the photographer’s prayer meet this time even skipped meeting Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan and family to offer his condolences one last time.
REASON Behind Shahrukh Khan’s Absence At Baba Siddique’s Funeral
A report from Times Of India reveals that SRK had intentionally not attended Baba Siddique’s funeral. This was to keep his name away from the political disputes. An official close to Shahrukh Khan stated to TOI that the Jawan actor doesn’t want to be associated in the politician’s murder case. Because the case is closely related to Salman and Shahrukh, and claims of Lawrence Bishnoi being the assasinator is hovering aroun, Shah Rukh doesn’t want any harm on him anymore. Although there is no official claims made by Shahrukh Khan’s team affirming to the claims, but the disappearance from Siddique’s last rites led many people question his integrity and friendship with Baba.
Baba Siddique’s funeral was attended by his close friends and family, including several big faces from the political and entertainment arena. Actors like Maniesh Paul, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, Urvashi Rautela, Dutt family were seen at the funeral. Others like Shehnaz Gill, brother Veer and Shikhar Pahariya, director Suraj Pancholi also arrived to pay their tribute to the deceased.
