Days after daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s marriage with actor Zaheer Iqbal, Veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha was rushed to the Mumbai hospital due to a sudden fall in his health. Sinha, 77, was taken to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to high fever on June 30th. The news was later confirmed by his son Luv Sinha who took to the media outlets, informing about his father’s sudden deterioration of health.
Luv Sinha said his father had a ‘strong fever’ which was why they decided to take him to the hospital. Talking to PTI, Luv said, “My father had a strong fever and we decided to take him to the hospital so that he could recover and we could have his yearly tests done as well”. Actor Shatrughan Sinha has done multiple hits in the 70s and 80s and is a renowned actor with films like Vishwanath, Kaala Patthar, Mere Apne and Dostana. Not only Bollywood, but Sinha has also marked a well-established name in the political industry as he joined the Indian National Congress (INC) party.
Reports said that Sinha also went through some minor surgery as he had pain around his rib region. However, the rumors were denied at once by Luv himself, saying there was no such procedure as he had been with his father in the hospital at every moment. Later when daughter Sonakshi visited her father with husband Zaheer Iqbal, speculations of her pregnancy also rose higher as she had recently tied knots on June 23 in a civil ceremony. All rumorse were later falsified as the news of his bad health came out.
Sources close to the family have informed that Shatrughan Sinha is now stable but will be kept under observation for sometime. There was no information on his discharge but the updates indicate he will soon return back to his home and is on a quick path of recovery.
