Bollywood’s beauty, and currently a global sensation Priyanka Chopra Jonas has paved the way for her, towards a long journey. Her bollywood films like Bajirao Mastani, Dostana, and Fashion are some of the most loved films till date. One film that gained a lot of traction for the actress was Dostana, but did you know how afraid Priyanka Chopra used to be, of Dostana filmmaker Tarun Sukhani. In a latest interview with Lehren Retro, mom Dr Madhu Chopra recalled the days of her daughter’s Dostana shoot. where she described Tarun- the director as a very frightening actor.
Madhu Chopra On Dealing With Priyanka Chopra Starrer Dostana Director
Madhu said“Filmmaker Tarun, as I know him today, was not the same Tarun. He was a very dangerous man. Priyanka who used to work with him on set during Dostana, was wary of upsetting him.” Sharing one incident, Madhu told that Priyanka Chopra once had a high-fever of approximately 100 degrees but she was supposed to be present at one of the important shoot scene of Dostana. Despite asking her to skip, Priyanka urged to go saying that because it is a combo-shoot, she will have to go. She asked mumma Madhu to give her a pill.
Madhu recalled that, “even after 1 hour of giving the pill, the fever did not subside at all. That was when I told her that she cannot go for shoot that day, and she has to rest this out”. Scared of director Tarun, PC asked Madhu to talk to him to inform him about the same.
Madhu Chopra’s Befitting Response
Madhu dialed up to Tarun and informed him that Priyanka would not be able to show up because of suffering through a high temperature. To this, Madhu told Lehren that Tarun just answered, “How conveniently..!!” reflecting out an eerie response. Madhu shared that she had to then hit back to his response in an equally responsive way so she stated, “If you want her to die on your set, I am sending her. But you will be responsible for whatever happens after that”.
Madhu stressed that now Tarun has become such a good friend to her that everytime they meet, he teases her by cracking up the same line, “If you want my daughter to die…” in a dramatical tone. Even though the two now hold huge friendship with each other, the old days saw a really dangerous side of Tarun.
