Kangana Ranaut Slap Controversy: Urfi Javed, Devoleena & Other TV Celebs React

Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actor and BJP’s MP-elect from Mandi, reportedly received a slap from a CISF officer during a security check at Chandigarh airport. Condemning the act many TV celebs came forward and shared their reaction to the incident.

TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared multiple posts on her X handle and shared her reaction. She wrote, “It is deeply troubling to learn about the incident involving Kangana Ranaut and a CISF officer during a security check-in. Such actions represent a severe breach of public trust and security protocols. A duty-bound officer should never allow personal grudges to interfere with their professional responsibilities. This incident raises significant concerns about the safety and security of every citizen when personal vendettas are acted upon in such a manner.”

Devoleena also slammed people coming in support of the CISF officer, she added, “Supporting the actions of this CISF officer means justifying a crime and spreading unnecessary hatred. It is crucial to remember that endorsing such behavior sets a dangerous precedent, potentially allowing others to take personal revenge under the guise of authority.” Read the full tweet here!

Urfi Javed also took to her Instagram stories and shared her reaction to the incident, she wrote, “Don’t agree with Kangana Ranaut politically but I still feel it ain’t right to physically assault someone when you disagree with them. Not cool. Violence is never the answer,”

In an event last night, YRKKH actress Shivangi Joshi was also asked about the incident. Talking with the paps Shivangi addressed the incident and said,  “I have watched the videos, read the news about Kangana Ranaut. I feel whatever happened was quite shocking for me. It was unprofessional and unacceptable. Violence is unacceptable.”

Meanwhile, following the incident, CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur was reportedly detained. According to reports, Ranaut lodged a complaint with CISF officials upon her arrival at the Indira Gandhi airport, leading to Kaur’s subsequent suspension.
