Abhishek Bachchan is scheduled to promote his upcoming film, I Want To Talk, on his father Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, coming Friday.

Amitabh Bachchan will explore familial dynamics this coming Friday evening on his renowned quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. His son, Abhishek Bachchan, is set to join as a special guest, where he will promote his latest film, I Want To Talk. However, based on the episode’s promotional material, it appears that Amitabh may have some reservations about his choice.

Sony Entertainment Television released a promotional video on its official Instagram account on Thursday evening. The clip features Abhishek occupying the highly sought-after hot seat, engaging with his father. Abhishek humorously mocks Amitabh by imitating his enthusiastic exclamation of “₹7 crore” each time a contestant secures the grand prize on the quiz show. He jokingly remarks that Amitabh cannot refrain from shouting “₹7 crore,” even during family meals at home. Amitabh, finding the situation amusing, responds with, “Galti kar di inko yahan bula ke (It was a mistake inviting him here).”

Shoojit Sircar the director of I Want To Talk, , can be seen laughing with the studio audience in the promotional material. Notably, this film represents the first collaboration between Shoojit and Abhishek; however, he has previously partnered with Amitabh Bachchan on four occasions. These collaborations include his debut film, Shoebite, which remains unreleased, as well as Piku (2015), Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s courtroom drama Pink (2016), where Shoojit served as the Creative Producer, and most recently, Gulabo Sitabo (2020).

I Want To Talk also features Johny Lever and Ahilya Bamroo. This slice-of-life drama, produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, is scheduled for release on November 22, coinciding with the airing of a special episode of KBC featuring Abhishek at 9 pm.

Following I Want To Talk, Abhishek will appear in Remo D’Souza’s dance film Be Happy, Tarun Mansukhani’s ensemble comedy Housefull 5, and will take on the role of the primary antagonist in Sujoy Ghosh’s crime drama King, where he will confront Shah Rukh Khan’s titular character.
