Abhishek Bannerjee, the acclaimed star is constantly making headlines for his performance in two of the top releases Vedaa and Stree 2. While Stree 2 reaches around 284 crore mark, Bannerjee’s performance has become the talk of the town. Fans praised the man hard and discussed about how his talent and skills have always been hidden and is finally witnessed by many.
In a recent interview Abhishek Bannerjee reveals how constantly doing small and supporting roles for movies never demotivated him. The Stree 2 actor recently had a chit-chat with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachhiya at the Bharti TV Podcast. From being a casting director to finally casting his ownself, Abhishek feels he has come a long way in the race.
When Haarsh asks him how he is so comfortable in doing multiple small and supporting roles and why did he never say NO to any. Abhishek to this replies that he performed all types of roles that he got, even if it was just a passing shot, or a single monologue in the entire movie – only for his own practice. He said he wanted to learn what exactly happens in the making of a movie, how things work on a set and for understanding the same it was important for him to work with all big-small film makers.
Abhishek Bannerjee And His Age-Old Friendship With Stree 2 Director Amar Kaushik
Later, talking about the Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik, Bannerjee says that they share a very close bond. Both Kaushik and Abhishek Bannerjee started their career together with No one Killed Jessica, where Amar Kaushik was an associate director and Abhishek was the casting director. Appreciating his success, Bannerjee funnily adds “look at his house”, hinting towards the luxury he is surrounded with.
About his future choices, the star mentioned that he wants to depict a real-life person’s exact personality via a biography and awaits more of action-films daily.
