Ahead of the grand wedding ceremony of Radhika Merchant, and Anant Ambani, to be held on July 12th – Reliance Foundation’s Founder. Nita Ambani took a moment to pay an ode to the cultural heritage of the longest-living city ‘Kashi’, or ‘Varanasi’. Mesmerized by the eternal charm of the city, the Ambanis will be paying tribute to the holy city of Kashi at the highly anticipated Radhika-Anant wedding.
A few weeks ago, Nita Ambani visited Kashi to seek blessings from Kashi Vishwanath for the well-being of their kids. She attended the Ganga Aarti, walked through the streets of Varanasi, enjoyed the famous delicacies and saw the beautiful work of the craftsmen there. In the latest video shared by Reliance Foundation, Founder-Chairperson Mrs Nita Ambani highlighted her preparations for the big wedding day. Appreciating the “city of light”, the lady talked about the intrinsic beauty Varanasi holds.
Nita spoke about how her visit to the city inspired her to bring the essence of Kashi’s heritage to the wedding. The video was shared on twitter with the caption,” In line with Reliance Foundation Founder & Chairperson Mrs Nita Ambani’s vision of sharing India’s rich cultural heritage with the world, the Ambani family will be paying homage to the holy city of Kashi or Varanasi at the much-awaited wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.”

The Reliance lady started the video saying, “Jai Kashi Vishwanath. For me and my family, it has always been important to seek the blessings of our devis and devatas before any auspicious beginning”.
She further adds, “Throughout Anant and Radhika’s wedding celebrations, we have tried to pay a tribute to India’s glorious culture and heritage brought alive by thousands of Artisans, karigars, weavers, and craftsman. I am delighted to proudly reimagine and present the purity, positivity and beauty of our legacy at the wedding. The grace of our gods and goddesses, the blessings of our priests and saints, the piousness of our rituals and traditions.”‘
The Reliance lady wore a 28 chauk jaal Rangkat saree, designed by the very special,- Manish Malhotra. Her saree, as seen in the video, dignifies the aura.
