After being immensely into the headlines, Jennifer Lopez has finally opened up on the struggles she is facing post her split with husband Ben Affleck. The star is gradually yet slowly coming out on how she balances being a mother, a full-time actress, and a singer, while also embracing her vulnerability as an individual.
In a latest interview with British Vogues, Jennifer reflected on the challenges of motherhood and balancing her emotions while being present for her children. “Okay, there’s so much going on here. And I understand it. I mean, as a mom, you always want to put your best foot forward for your kids…You want to lift them up. That doesn’t stop you from being a human being who struggles”, Lopez said.
This interaction roughly made the viewers think of her struggling side after splitting apart with ex husband Ben Affleck. In one of her previous interviews, Lopez was seen discussing her personal experiences as a mother and how they helped her connect with her role in the film. She also shared how the project provided her with much-needed validation as an occasional single mother.
“I’ve been a single mom at times in my life, and I’ve asked myself, ‘Am I enough for them?’” Lopez said regarding the same. Talking about Jennifer’s workfront, her new film UNSTOPPABLE, co-produced by her ex-husband Ben Affleck failed to impress the audience . The film grossed only $3,900 in its opening weekend in the UK, which made it rank as the 55th among new releases.
