The 51-year-old actor addressed the health crisis with their daughter Willow Smith, son Trey Smith and Jada’s mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones, on the new installment of his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show “Red Table Talk.
During the show, Will Smith joked about his movie ‘I Am Legend’ is responsible for “a lot of misinformation” about coronavirus pandemic.
The actor quipped during the talk that he thinks that the current scenario represents a post-apocalyptic action film about a scientist who is the last human survivor of a plague, with Smith’s character trying to reverse the virus’s effects by using his own immune blood.
The actor then said, “I wanted to do this because in 2008 I made ‘I Am Legend’, and I feel responsible for all the misinformation.”
His wife Jada then said, “Just like other families around the world, we are trying to navigate all the information out there about COVID-19.”
She then addressed that her 21-year old son Jaden Smith is absent in the discussion because he’s being a responsible citizen and is social-distancing.
Talking about the discussion on her Twitter page, Jada wrote that she and her family were hoping to get some questions answered about the disease on their show.
