Lindsay was just 11 years old when this classic and iconic movie titled The Parent Trap made her a household name in 1998. Performances in films like Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, Herbie, Herbie Reloaded, and Just My Luck only elevated the actress star power, but then Lindsay’s personal and legal turmoil throughout the early aughts overshadowed her professional endeavors.
In recent years, she has mostly lived abroad and in 2019 did let MTV cameras document her experience of managing her own club in Mykonos, Greece but alas, the reality series was cancelled after one season.
Lindsay’s Netflix role marks her first big acting comeback on screens since 2013’s The Shadows. She most recently also did guest starred on a March episode of SYFY’s Devil May Care series and is also set to co-star alongside Mickey Rourke in the forthcoming supernatural thriller Cursed.
