There are reports suggesting that South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok will play the antagonist in Prabhas’ upcoming film “Spirit,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Known as Dong Lee in Hollywood, this role could mark his debut in Telugu cinema alongside Prabhas in the lead.
For those unfamiliar, Ma Dong-seok gained fame for his performances in “Train to Busan” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Eternals.” Reports suggest he could command a fee of Rs 10 Cr for his role in the film. However, there is no official confirmation about the same. However, if rumors hold true, “Spirit” would mark Ma Dong-seok’s debut in the Telugu film industry and his introduction to Indian cinema.

Ma Dong-seok has been active in the South Korean film industry since 2004, appearing in numerous South Korean films, dramas, and even Hollywood productions. His notable credits include “Train to Busan,” “The Outlaws,” and “The Roundup” series.
About Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Next Film, Spirit
Earlier this year, Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced plans to commence filming “Spirit” by late 2024. According to Pinkvilla, Prabhas is slated to portray an intense young police officer in the film. Sandeep’s signature style, known for its raw depiction of violence, will be a prominent feature. Production designer Suresh Selvarajan also disclosed that “Spirit,” aims to surpass the scale and grandeur of Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal.”
