Daniel Radcliffe walked the red carpet with his longtime love, Erin Darke, at a screening for The Lost City in New York City. The actor was looking dapper in a black windbreaker over a polo shirt. He added a pair of matching black slacks to his look as well as shiny dress shoes. The star’s hair was shaved short on the sides. He had a bit of stubble, no more than five o’clock shadow, on his chin and jawbone.
Meanwhile, Erin wore a black and white dress covered in a floral pattern. The Dietland actress’ blonde hair was parted in the middle, and her curly tresses ended near her collarbone. Radcliffe and Darke started dating in 2012, but only publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2014. They met on the set of the 2013 film Kill Your Darlings in which Daniel Radcliffe starred as the poet Allen Ginsberg.
The couple attended the filming because Radcliffe plays a role in The Lost City. It follows reclusive romance novelist Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) and her book’s cover model (Channing Tatum) who get caught in a kidnapping attempt. The Horns star plays Fairfax, an eccentric billionaire who sets up the kidnapping in order to find the city in Sage’s book.
Fight Club star Brad Pitt, The Office actor Oscar Nuñez and Dolemite Is My Name actress Da’Vine Joy Randolph also appear in supporting roles. Radcliffe has several other projects on the way including Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, a biopic about the humorous singer. The Miracle Worker star will play the title character alongside Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna, Rainn Wilson as radio broadcaster Dr. Demento and James Preston Rogers as Hulk Hogan.
