The global attraction, the Cannes Film Festival, got a controversial kick off with a video getting viral on the internet. In the video, Furiosa star Anya Taylor Joy was seen in trouble due to a fan and had to manage her way in a stressful manner. The Queen’s Gambit actress was spotted in French Riviera city for her Cannes appearance when the incident occurred.
Anya sizzled in a mustard-colour one-shoulder gown paired with a brimmed hat when she was exiting the airport to get into the car. She was covered by both sides with security guards to avoid any kind of mobbed moment. But even after having her bodyguards around, she was seen accosted by her fans. A guy in grey full sleeves tee was aggressively approaching her holding a pen and paper in his hand for Anya’s signature. Her security staff attempted to block the guy from not going in between her route. He even removed him away not once but twice and even after that he tried hard to get Anya’s autograph. But when the security staff learned that the guy wasn’t listening, he literally held him back.

In this furore, Anya took off her hat and finally reached near her car when another fan came in between to give her a gift. Anya once said stop and refused to take the gift. He was chanting Anya please again and again. But, till then, she slid into her car saying “Sorry Guys.” It would be a really horrible interaction if security would have allowed that grey t-shirt guy to approach Anya. The video received hate for that guy on social media. One called the incident “Threatening”.
Anya will soon be seen in the forthcoming film ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ which will release in the last week of May.
