Actor Daisy Ridley has returned to the Star Wars universe to reprise her role as Rey. She recently provided an update on the script for the sequel film, expressing that she “feels really good” about writer George Nolfi’s work on it. The sequel will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
According to a report from Deadline, Daisy mentioned, “I have not read the latest script, but I know what’s happening, and I know the story. I think what feels really good is that George is a phenomenal writer.” She added, “We’re making sure that this story is the best way to tell the story.”
Ridley first portrayed Rey in 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and she reprised the role in 2017’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” and 2019’s “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” Additionally, she revealed that she is open to the idea of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as an Avenger in the future.
