In a throwback interview, when asked about launching Hrithik Roshan and the film he would debut in, Rakesh Roshan said, “Ek shuru kar raha hai, uss picture ka naam ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ and that subject requires newcomers, so I’m taking my son.” This marked the moment when Rakesh Roshan launched Hrithik Roshan into Bollywood.
Rakesh’s confidence in his son was clear, but he also knew the journey ahead was uncertain. He added, “Yahi ke bas vo acha kaam kare, acha lage, aur hum puri koshish karenge,” emphasizing the importance of hard work. He further mentioned, “Aage toh kismat ki baat hai, koi kisiko yaha bana toh sakta nahi hai,” highlighting the unpredictability of success in the film industry.
