Tanuj Virwani has recently addressed his past relationship with Akshara Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan. The couple, who had been together for four years, ended their relationship after the leak of Akshara’s private photos online. In a recent conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Tanuj reflected on their breakup and his relationships with former partners, revealing that while he keeps in touch with many of his exes, he no longer does so with Akshara.
Tanuj Virwani On His Breakup With Akshara Haasan And Photo Leak Scandal
Tanuj revealed, “I am friends with many of my exes and more than friendship, we have mutual respect for each other.”
Revealing that he isn’t in any contact with Akshara Haasan, he added, “Sometimes when you lose respect for your partner, and you don’t take a stand for them when you have to, then I may forgive but not forget. In that case, I don’t have to be friends. We are happy in our respective space.”
Tanuj further revealed that during the photo leak scandal, Akshara refused to stand by him, leaving him alone in the midst of the chaos, he added, “It has nothing to do with our breakup. But, everything that happened about the leaked pictures, either you believe I have done it, or you believe I haven’t and in that case, you need to take a stand for me. But, she didn’t. I believe everybody has their own reasons and now it doesn’t really matter.”

Tanuj Virwani shared that his wife, Tanya Jacob, had concerns about his past relationship with Akshara Haasan early in their romance. He explained that Tanya, who he met around the time of his split from Akshara, inquired about the situation out of curiosity or concern. Tanuj assured her with complete honesty about the circumstances. Now, after their Christmas-themed wedding last December, the couple is joyfully anticipating the arrival of their first child.
