Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set to tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple confirmed their wedding rumors with their leaked audio wedding invite. Now, to substantiate their upcoming marriage, several photos from their mehendi ceremony have surfaced online. One particular photo from the mehendi event has gone viral on social media, showing the couple posing with attendees amidst their pre-wedding celebrations.
The couple, reportedly set to marry on June 23, began their wedding celebrations on June 21. In the mehendi snapshots, Sonakshi is adorned in a maroon blood-red ethnic outfit, standing next to her fiancé Zaheer Iqbal, who opted for a kurta and pajama. The Notebook actor rounded off his attire with stylish sunglasses.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had long been speculated to be in a relationship. Despite frequently posting affectionate photos together with heartfelt captions, the couple neither confirmed nor denied their status. They also appeared together in the 2022 film “Double XL,” where Huma Qureshi played the lead role.
Previously rumors about disagreements between the Sonakshi-Zaheer and Shatrughan Sinha surfaced on the internet claiming that the veteran was against the couple’s marriage. However, the actor came forth and dismissed the rumors as “baseless” and stating that he would definitely attend the wedding of his only daughter who is the most precious to him.
