After the enormous success of Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Fighter’, the director Siddharth Anand has moved towards his next directorial venture. Taking to Instagram, Pathaan director informed his fans about his upcoming movies and for this new project, Siddharth has collaborated with his first hero, Saif Ali Khan.
Siddharth shared a photo of him and Saif Ali Khan standing next to each other in black tees & denim lowers at Budapest in Hungary. He captioned the image, “Back on set with my first hero! How can nothing change! Haha! Love you Saif!” Within a few minutes, fans showered various comments under the post, some asking for a rom-com of Deepika and Saif whereas some asked for the sequel of ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’. But Siddharth didn’t mention the details of their next association, which is happening after 17 years of Ta Ra Rum Pum.
Siddharth Anand and Saif Ali Khan worked together for the first time in the movie ‘Hum Tum’ written by Siddharth Anand. Even in the first directorial debut of Siddharth Anand, ‘Salaam Namaste’, Saif was the lead. And then, in 2007, they did ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’. But there are no updates about what this new movie is which is being filmed in Hungary. This upcoming movie could be ‘Jewel Thief’ is what fans guessed.
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the movie ‘Adipurush’ in 2023, and he will next appear in the Telugu film ‘Devara’ alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR.
